Requirements
Must have:
- 10 years of relevant experience for a managerial role involving project leadership and strategic partnership. Exceptional candidates with a strong record of IT leadership in electronics manufacturing may be considered with slightly fewer years of experience.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong business analysis capability, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder playback.
- Experience defining application development requirements, ideally in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and re-engineer business processes to improve quality, service, and cost efficiency.
- Familiarity with Engineering R&D processes and tools to translate business needs into technical IT requirements.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and information security tools.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, critical judgment, and sound decision-making.
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and operations, including production planning, logistics, and operational processes.
- Understanding of functional areas such as finance, supply chain, and quality.
- Strong business and technical writing skills.
- Familiarity with standard application development design processes and project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including communication with both operational teams and senior leadership.
- Proactive self-starter with an ownership mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality work on time.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead detailed requirements-gathering workshops with business subject matter experts, using design thinking and other workshop methods.
- Build strong partnerships with the functional areas we support to understand the IT capabilities they need to innovate, scale, improve efficiency, and meet compliance needs.
- Act as a liaison between business units and our IT development team to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Take accountability for key project activities in coordination with the IT Project Management Office, internal IT teams, and vendors.
- Negotiate with teams, escalate issues when needed, and ensure project management practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Research emerging technologies and assess how they can improve business processes across the enterprise.
- Conduct technical evaluations of system upgrades, including feasibility, cost, timing, and compatibility with existing systems.
- Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to identify viable process improvement solutions.
- Analyze current and proposed business procedures, define improvement needs, and prepare process flowcharts and diagrams.
- Qualify and prioritize requirements when IT execution resources or budget are constrained.
- Participate in hardware and software evaluations for proposed solutions and present the findings to the business team.
- Stay current on new and emerging trends and technologies that can benefit our organization, partners, and customers.
