Future Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with business partners to analyze processes, gather requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
  • Drive the full software development life cycle from analysis and design to implementation, QA, delivery, and support.
  • Lead solution design and architecture reviews.
  • Design and implement front-end solutions using technologies such as React.
  • Design, document, and implement cloud-first software using languages such as Python, Node.js, .NET, C#, and/or Java.
  • Leverage cloud-first technologies and serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda).
  • Build CI/CD pipelines with tools like AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level team members.
  • Collaborate to improve efficiency and estimate project tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs and recommend technical solutions.
  • Experience leading a team of 3 to 10 software and/or QA engineers.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and grow team members.
  • Experience managing scope, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular, JavaScript, Vue.js).
  • Hands-on enterprise software development experience (Python, Node.js, .NET, C#, or Java).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented principles, database design, and SQL.
  • Understanding of cloud principles and experience leveraging AI in the SDLC.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related field.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience building cloud-first solutions in AWS or Azure.
  • Experience designing reporting and transactional data models (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, RedShift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle).
  • Understanding of autoscaling, serverless, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and containers.
  • Data engineering experience (ETL, Data Analytics, or Master Data Management).
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).

CGI offers a competitive compensation range of $89,600.00 - $198,400.00, depending on skills and experience. Benefits include:
