About The Opportunity
We are a venture-backed technology company building AI-powered solutions that bring real-time intelligence to complex operational environments. Our team is leveraging machine learning and computer vision to solve challenging real-world problems at scale. We seek a Mid-Level Machine Learning Engineer to help develop and deploy production-ready systems, taking ownership of projects across the full ML lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy ML and computer vision models for production.
- Develop solutions for object detection, image classification, tracking, anomaly detection, etc.
- Conduct experimentation to improve model performance and accuracy.
- Optimize models for scalability, reliability, and real-time inference.
- Build and maintain pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and customers.
- Troubleshoot and improve ML systems in production.
- Stay current on emerging ML and CV technologies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years professional experience in ML, computer vision, or related fields.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, YOLO, scikit-learn, or similar.
- Experience with computer vision techniques: object detection, segmentation, classification, tracking, image processing.
- Understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning.
- Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ML, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in a related field.
- Experience deploying ML models into production.
- Experience with edge computing or real-time systems.
- Familiarity with anomaly detection, autoencoders, or traditional CV techniques.
- Experience in industrial, robotics, automation, or operational technology environments.
