Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted market research and competitive analysis to support business development strategies
- Assist in preparing high-quality proposals, pitches, and RFP responses, including drafting content and highlighting key differentiators
- Support execution of short- and long-term business development initiatives and campaigns
- Coordinate and draft submissions for legal directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, etc.)
- Manage and maintain internal tracking systems, including pitch trackers, experience databases, and marketing collateral libraries
- Assist with client outreach initiatives, webinars, sponsorships, and events
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business goals
- Support ad hoc marketing and business development projects as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct research and synthesize insights
- Ability to interact professionally with senior stakeholders, including partners and clients
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 3 years of experience in business development or marketing within professional services (law firm experience preferred)
- Familiarity with legal marketing, proposals, and directory submissions is a plus
- Fluency in French is preferred
