Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted market research and competitive analysis to support business development strategies
  • Assist in preparing high-quality proposals, pitches, and RFP responses, including drafting content and highlighting key differentiators
  • Support execution of short- and long-term business development initiatives and campaigns
  • Coordinate and draft submissions for legal directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, etc.)
  • Manage and maintain internal tracking systems, including pitch trackers, experience databases, and marketing collateral libraries
  • Assist with client outreach initiatives, webinars, sponsorships, and events
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business goals
  • Support ad hoc marketing and business development projects as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct research and synthesize insights
  • Ability to interact professionally with senior stakeholders, including partners and clients
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in business development or marketing within professional services (law firm experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with legal marketing, proposals, and directory submissions is a plus
  • Fluency in French is preferred
