Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced API Developer to join our DevOps Team. This is a hybrid-remote position requiring the ability to come onsite as needed.
Responsibilities
- API Development: 85%
- Jira Documentation: 15%
Technical Skills
- Core Development: Java, RESTful Service APIs
- Database: RDBMS experience
- Build & CI/CD: Maven, Jenkins or Tekton, CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure & Platforms: Red Hat, Red Hat OpenShift, 3Scale, JBoss, Kubernetes
- Tools: Bitbucket (GIT), Jira, Confluence
Requirements & Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills within an Agile environment, with the confidence to provide input during remote meetings.
- Knowledge of software development processes, service-oriented environments, and Agile practices.
- Ability to generate unique solutions and embrace innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Must be a team player capable of working effectively with developers, testers, business analysts, and scrum masters.
