Job description

CodePath is the largest educator of college computer science students in the country. We have trained over 40,000 students from 1,000+ universities. Our partners include Amazon, Google, Meta, and 4,000+ companies across the industry. We've been training the next generation of technical talent for nearly a decade, and we just launched a $150M initiative with Anthropic, building one of the most ambitious AI workforce programs in the world.

We're now expanding into new markets and scaling our team so we can move at the speed AI is transforming the workforce. People joining CodePath now will have the opportunity to help architect the next frontier of our work.

We are building toward millions of learners, hundreds of millions in revenue, and billions in economic impact for a generation of technical talent who have historically been locked out of tech. If you want to own something and be part of a 0-to-1 journey at an organization moving at the speed of AI, we think you'd love it here.

About the Role

  • Location: Remote
  • Role Type: Full-Time
  • Reporting to: Chief Product Officer
  • Total Compensation: $200,000 - $232,000 (Base salary: $135,000 - $175,000 + guaranteed monthly supplement)

Every CodePath learner engages our platform. As we grow from tens of thousands of learners toward millions, the quality and effectiveness of the learner experience must improve. That demands an AI-First approach: identifying where AI can accelerate effectiveness, productivity, and scale, and where human connection is essential.

You own the platform: everything a learner touches when they log in, from the course portal to asynchronous engagement.

Two things make this role unlike most PM jobs

  • Learning rate is the scoreboard: You will be measured on outcomes, retention, and engagement, not feature velocity.
  • The ceiling is enormous: Your decisions will compound across every learner we will ever serve as we scale.

What you'll do

  • Own the core learner platform experience across all segments.
  • Translate learning, retention, and engagement goals into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Use AI across your entire workflow to compress weeks into days.
  • Own our AI-assisted learning experiences end to end, including the AI Tutor and AI Grader.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum, Learning, and Engineering to power live delivery and asynchronous engagement.
  • Set a high bar for design quality and engaging interactions.
  • Define metrics that prove learning rate, retention, and engagement are improving at scale.

Who you are

You are a PM who has owned products that learners depend on every day. You are deeply AI-Native and believe great learning products are judged by what learners can do afterward.

Required

  • You have scaled a live product and raised its quality while usage multiplied.
  • Zero-to-one instincts: you know how to map what exists and chart the path forward.
  • AI is genuinely how you work; you can demonstrate how your workflow has changed.
  • You have built products where engagement and retention were the scoreboard.
  • You hold strong opinions and can defend them live.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and can structure messy problems.
  • You have strong analytical instincts and can define the metrics that matter.
  • You write requirements engineers trust and can sell strategy to diverse audiences.

Preferred

  • Fluency in the modern PM toolkit (product analytics, prototyping, SQL, AI-assisted development).
  • Background in edtech, learning platforms, or consumer education.
  • Experience with AI tutoring, adaptive learning, or personalization.
  • Founder experience or experience in a hyperscaling environment.

Full-Time Employee Benefits

  • Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision insurance (90% employer-covered), healthcare reimbursement, FSAs, and EAP.
  • Financial Security: 401(k), employer-paid life & disability insurance, and identity theft protection.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO, paid holidays, 10 weeks of fully paid parental leave, and annual year-end company closure.
  • Professional Growth: $1,000 annual professional development stipend and home office support.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness: Qualifying employer for PSLF.
  • Additional Perks: Pet wellness plans, legal services, insurance discounts, and marketplace savings.
