About CoderPad

CoderPad is seeking a Developer to join its tech team in France. This is a full-time remote position reporting to the Director of Engineering EMEA.

What does a Full-Stack Developer at CoderPad do?

With over 4,000 clients in 165 countries, thousands of technical interviews are conducted daily, ranging from live coding to automated assessments. CoderPad's tech team is building the go-to platform for assessing technical skills, ensuring it's realistic, reliable, and designed for both recruiters and candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop new full-stack features (React / TypeScript on the front-end, Java, Node.js, or Ruby on the back-end) in collaboration with the Product Manager and Designer.
  • Participate in architectural and technical design decisions within the team.
  • Write automated tests and ensure code quality through code reviews.
  • Deploy and monitor your own features in production (GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's engineering practices.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of development experience with strong technical skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one back-end language (Java, Ruby, Node.js), a modern front-end framework (ideally React), and SQL. Mastery of all technologies from the start is not required.
  • Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).

Interview Process

  • Introduction with Mathilde from the HR team (20 min).
  • Online CoderPad technical test (1-2 hours).
  • Technical interview with two members of the tech team (1.5 hours).
  • A series of interviews with members from other teams (1.5 hours).
  • Discussion with Amanda, our CEO (30 min, in English).

€40,000 - €50,000 a year
