Are you ready to make an impact in the fast-paced world of cybersecurity? Cognisys is growing rapidly, and we're looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join our Account Management team during this exciting period of innovation and expansion.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial curiosity and relationship-building skills who wants to develop into a successful Account Manager. You'll work closely with experienced Account Managers and sales leaders, learning how to manage client relationships, support renewals, and identify opportunities to add value.

While this role focuses on existing customers, experience in a business development, SDR, or sales support role is a strong advantage. You'll be supported as you build confidence in client conversations and develop your understanding of cybersecurity solutions.

As an Account Manager, you will work closely with our existing clients to:

  • Support renewals
  • Identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain trusted, long-term partnerships

This position offers an excellent opportunity to refine your client management, sales, and cybersecurity skills, all while being part of a high-performing and supportive team and at the same time, contributing to Cognisys' ongoing success.

What You'll Do

Client Support & Relationship Building

Act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients, with guidance from senior team members.

Renewals & Retention

Support contract renewals and help ensure a positive, consistent client experience.

Opportunity Identification

Learn how to spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and work with senior colleagues to progress them.

Client Engagement

Participate in regular client meetings to understand needs, priorities, and challenges.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with consultants, project managers, and delivery teams to ensure services are delivered smoothly.

Account Administration

Maintain accurate account records, pipeline updates, and forecasts in internal systems.

Learning & Development

Build your knowledge of cybersecurity services, sales processes, and account management best practices.

Requirements

  • 1--3 years' experience in a client-facing, sales, account support, or business development role.
  • Interest in cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology solutions (experience is a plus, not a must).
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships.
  • Eager to learn, coachable, and motivated to develop commercial skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts or tasks.
  • Able to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
