Full Stack Developer (Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL) (Hybrid)

About the Role

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer (Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL) for a hybrid position with 7 years of experience developing high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will join a digital software team focused on high-demand applications, working alongside product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software.

Location

Louisville, KY (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support End-to-End Delivery: Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Accessible UI Development: Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces following WCAG standards.
• Microservices Development: Build, enhance, and maintain microservices-based applications.
• GraphQL API Implementation: Develop and consume GraphQL APIs, assisting in schema design.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other developers.
• Code Development & Maintenance: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debugging & Issue Resolution: Identify bugs, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes.
• Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated with new technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, and GraphQL APIs.
• Node.js Proficiency: Experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs.
• TypeScript Knowledge: Ability to write type-safe and maintainable code.
• Vue.js Experience: Experience developing front-end applications using component-based architecture.
• GraphQL Basics: Practical exposure to consuming APIs and understanding schemas/resolvers.
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: $68,422 to $131,500 per year, depending on experience.
• Incentives: Eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program.
