Job Summary

This role focuses on providing specialized expertise in iSeries/AS400 Administration within a hybrid work model. The Infra. Technology Specialist will ensure seamless operations, optimize system performance, and contribute to the company's technological advancements in the Cards & Payments domain.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain iSeries/AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Monitor system health and proactively address issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Implement system upgrades and patches to enhance security and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system configurations with business requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for iSeries/AS400-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Optimize system performance by analyzing and fine-tuning configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in system administration.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard critical data.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their technical needs.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in iSeries/AS400 Administration.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in iSeries/AS400 Administration with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
  • Showcase knowledge of system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
  • Exhibit familiarity with Cards & Payments domain as a nice-to-have skill.
  • Display excellent documentation and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Show commitment to staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Bring a detail-oriented mindset to ensure compliance and system reliability.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a hybrid model and adapt to dynamic work environments.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address complex system issues.
