Job Summary
This role focuses on providing specialized expertise in iSeries/AS400 Administration within a hybrid work model. The Infra. Technology Specialist will ensure seamless operations, optimize system performance, and contribute to the company's technological advancements in the Cards & Payments domain.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain iSeries/AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor system health and proactively address issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Implement system upgrades and patches to enhance security and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system configurations with business requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for iSeries/AS400-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Optimize system performance by analyzing and fine-tuning configurations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in system administration.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard critical data.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their technical needs.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in iSeries/AS400 Administration.
Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in iSeries/AS400 Administration with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
- Showcase knowledge of system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
- Exhibit familiarity with Cards & Payments domain as a nice-to-have skill.
- Display excellent documentation and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Show commitment to staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Bring a detail-oriented mindset to ensure compliance and system reliability.
