About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing scalable software solutions using AWS, Node.js, and JavaScript. You will be a valued member of a cross‑functional engineering team, collaborating closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure applications using AWS, Node.js, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Analyze system requirements and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Apply engineering best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and reusability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure high system availability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Ensure security, compliance, and data protection standards are met across applications.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Contribute to documentation, development standards, and knowledge sharing across teams.

What you need to have to be considered
- 10--14 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and AWS.
- Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, high‑quality software solutions.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience building secure, reliable, and performance‑optimized applications.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders.
These will help you stand out
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
- Node.js Certified Developer certification.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership.
- Exposure to performance tuning, cloud cost optimization, and security best practices.
