About Collabiora
Collabiora is building the infrastructure for health literacy --- an AI platform that helps patients understand the research, trials, and experts relevant to their conditions.
Role Overview
We're looking for a finance intern with a strong interest in venture funding to help us build the financial foundation for scale, prepare compelling investor materials, and chart the path from where we are to where we're going.
What you'll work on
- Build and maintain financial models including revenue projections, burn rate, runway, and unit economics (LTV, CAC, payback period)
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis --- benchmarking Collabiora against comparable platforms on pricing, growth trajectory, and funding history
- Prepare investor-ready financial materials: data rooms, financial summaries, and supporting schedules for our pre-seed close and upcoming seed round
- Research the venture funding landscape for digital health --- identifying relevant funds, recent deals, and market sizing data
- Analyze comparable company funding paths (Series A milestones, key metrics at each stage) and translate findings into strategic recommendations for Collabiora's trajectory
- Support due diligence preparation --- organizing cap table, SAFE documentation, and financial records for investor review
- Track and report key financial and operational metrics on a rolling basis to inform fundraising timing and positioning
Qualifications
- You have coursework or experience in finance, accounting, investment banking, or venture capital
- You have a genuine interest in how venture funding works and how startups raise capital
- You're comfortable building financial models in Excel or Google Sheets and presenting your findings clearly
- You want real exposure to early-stage fundraising, not a simulated case study
Compensation & Logistics
- Paid hourly at California minimum wage following a two-week trial period.
- Part-time and flexible --- open to students and recent grads.
- Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Work Location: Remote
