- Finance Analyst
The Financial Analyst will support the financial management, reporting, and analysis of a Tolls by Mail program. This role is responsible for monitoring revenue performance, analyzing toll bill and violation transactions, evaluating traffic trends, and forecasting financial outcomes. The analyst will work closely with operations, accounting, and client stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, contract compliance, and informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to tolling operations, including revenue, expenses, and variance analysis
- Analyze toll transaction data, traffic volumes, and revenue trends to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast toll revenues and operational costs
- Reconcile toll system data with financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Revenue Monitoring & Forecasting
- Monitor daily and periodic toll revenue performance across electronic tolling systems
- Develop and update revenue forecasts based on traffic trends, seasonal patterns, and contractual assumptions
- Identify discrepancies, anomalies, or potential leakage in toll collection and transaction processing
Contract Compliance & Client Support
- Ensure financial activities comply with contractual terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and regulatory requirements
- Assist with preparing financial documentation and reports for clients, agencies, and auditors
- Support contract billing, invoicing, and revenue-sharing calculations in accordance with tolling agreements
Data Analysis & Systems Support
- Extract, validate, and analyze large datasets from tolling systems and financial platforms
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to improve data quality, reporting processes, and system integrations
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Three (3) or more years of experience in financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial controls
Preferred
- Experience working in revenue-based or transaction-driven environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Experience with tolling systems or transaction-based platforms
- Prior experience supporting transportation, infrastructure, or government contracts

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $66,143 - $86,250.
