Role Description
Working under the direction of the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) technical lead, candidates will provide SAP Basis and Infrastructure architecture guidance as well as Basis administration services. This includes the design, installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of SAP and third-party software packages in a Microsoft OS 2012-2025 and SQL 2014-2019 environment.

- ECC 6.0 EHP8 on NetWeaver 7.5
- SRM 7.04
- Business Warehouse 7.5
- PI 7.5
- SOLMAN 7.2
- Fiori Launchpad and gateway on NetWeaver 7.52
- Business Objects 4.3
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SAP and third-party applications.
- Analyze system requirements, enhancement pack installations, system copies, and service pack administration.
- Manage change requirements, provide work estimates, configure standard solutions, and perform testing.
- Provide formal written documentation and peer/user training.
- Participate in developing implementation and maintenance strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Assist with defining hardware specifications and creating high-level implementation roadmaps.
- Develop test plans to validate solutions.
- Perform SAP Basis administration tasks including software installation, upgrades, and applying support packages.
- Conduct system health checks, performance analysis, and tuning improvements.
Required Skills
- ABAP Solution Architecting
- Troubleshooting
- SAP Public Sector Experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and SQL databases
- Working knowledge of SAP in an HP infrastructure 64-bit hardware environment
- Working knowledge of virtualization using VMWARE
