Enrollment Specialist, Unbound Academy (Remote) - $40,000/year USD
Job summary
Work model
If you can establish credibility with a parent in the opening moments of a phone call, this role will suit you. The position is designed for someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-up, and can articulate a new educational model without leaning on prepared scripts. If phone-based communication drains you or you prefer work without measurable outcomes, this is not the right opportunity.
Unbound Academy operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school that serves students through a distinctive framework. Core academics are completed in a concentrated time block using AI-enhanced learning, while the remainder of the day is dedicated to real-world skill development through enrichment and project-based work. You will serve as the first substantive connection for families considering this alternative.
Your weekly work will include responding promptly to incoming inquiries, shepherding families through admissions, and advancing them from curiosity to enrollment. You will also attend local community events on behalf of Unbound Academy to cultivate leads and raise visibility in your region. During slower enrollment periods, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for the next intake cycle.
If you are looking for a position where your communication skills, follow-through, and initiative directly shape enrollment outcomes, we would like to speak with you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Reaching out to new inbound leads within 24 hours and starting admissions discussions by phone.
- Describing Unbound Academy's virtual structure and enrollment procedures using clear, accessible language.
- Maintaining consistent outreach to advance families from inquiry through application to completed enrollment.
- Recording all interactions in a CRM with detailed notes, next actions, and pipeline status.
- Planning and facilitating local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and collect new leads.
What You Won't Be Doing
- Allowing inbound leads to remain uncontacted while you handle administrative tasks.
- Relying on scripted dialogue or functioning like a transactional call center.
- Showing up to events as an observer rather than actively presenting and generating interest.
- Devoting most of your time to internal operations when enrollment activity is high.
