Job description

Role Overview

You are the individual who locates the missing document, identifies the incorrect date, corrects the file, and ensures the system remains accurate before issues surface. If you find satisfaction in executing complex administrative operations with minimal error, continue reading. If you require strategic presentations, public engagement, or frequent interpersonal work to stay motivated, this role will not suit you.

Alpha School is expanding a new model of school network. This expansion generates a significant operational challenge: thousands of student files, enrollment packages, transcripts, medical documents, attendance records, and compliance procedures must remain precise as the network grows. This work lacks glamour. It is critical. Accurate records allow schools to function, families to receive support, and leadership to avoid administrative burden.

You will manage the high-volume processes supporting enrollment and student records across a multi-campus education network. During a standard week, you will examine intake materials, handle records requests, maintain student information systems, audit data, address inconsistencies, and assist with registrar operations. As Alpha expands to additional campuses and enrolls more students, your contributions form part of the operational foundation that enables the network to scale without disorder.

If you are methodical, precise, self-motivated, and driven by transforming large information volumes into accurate, compliant records, we want to speak with you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Examine enrollment and intake materials for completeness, correctness, and preparation
  • Handle student records, transcripts, medical documents, enrollment verification files, and records requests
  • Input, maintain, audit, and amend student data in SIS platforms, databases, CRMs, or comparable systems
  • Monitor outstanding requirements and advance enrollment documentation through internal processes
  • Assist with registrar operations, including attendance monitoring, testing coordination, file organization, and administrative initiatives

What You Won't Be Doing

  • Overseeing enrollment strategy, registrar policy, or school expansion planning
  • Acting as the primary escalation contact for compliance, accreditation, or regulatory matters
  • Performing sales functions, converting families, or owning family relationship oversight
  • Delivering presentations to large audiences or functioning as a public-facing school representative
  • Leading a team or assigning the granular records work to subordinates

Key Responsibilities

This role exists so Alpha School can expand enrollment across a growing school network with precise, complete, compliant, and audit-ready student records.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience handling high-volume administrative workflows involving documentation, records, or data
  • Experience preserving accurate information in databases, CRMs, SIS platforms, or similar systems
  • Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent workflows while sustaining high accuracy
  • Strong written communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote role
  • Authorized to work in the United States or Canada

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience in student records, school registrar operations, admissions operations, or education administration
  • Experience in healthcare, legal, insurance, or other compliance-heavy administrative environments
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in any field
