In your capacity as a Student Success Advisor, you will support 3rd–8th grade students eager to accelerate their growth. Your focus is not content instruction—our technology manages that. What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting biweekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions with each student, centered on academic planning, motivation strategies, and mindset development
• Facilitating open "office hours" where students access real-time guidance, support, or problem-solving assistance
• Leveraging AI-powered tools and dashboards to monitor student performance, detect obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
• Recording observations, action items, and strategic updates to maintain each student on an accelerated learning path
• Partnering with your team to exchange best practices, escalate issues when necessary, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What You Won't Be Doing

• Instructing lessons, evaluating assessments, or creating assignments—our platform manages the academic content
• Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
• Supervising or micromanaging unmotivated students—we provide coaching, not surveillance
• Attending excessive meetings or navigating administrative red tape
• Operating at minimal effort—this team is composed of individuals committed to high performance and meaningful results

Student Success Advisor Key Responsibilities

Deliver measurable academic progress and sustained engagement for virtual learners through high-frequency, high-impact coaching focused on mindset and motivation in a fully remote, technology-enabled environment.

Basic Requirements

• Master's degree in any field
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
• Demonstrated high achievement in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
• Strong virtual communication skills and capacity to build rapport with students efficiently via Zoom/Google Meet
• Proficiency with dashboards and technical tools to monitor and refine performance
• Ability to maintain at least 80 percent overlap with US business hours

Nice-to-have Requirements

• PhD in any field
• Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
• Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
