You will control the entire enrollment engine for GT Anywhere and direct brand strategy across virtual, campus, and summer offerings. Your goal is clear: turn high-intent demand into 1,000 enrolled families while positioning gt.school as the definitive choice in gifted K--8 education.
There is no established playbook. You will design the funnel, determine positioning, lead experimentation, and construct a dependable execution system using agencies, freelancers, and platforms. You will function with autonomy and carry direct accountability for outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing
- Controlling the complete enrollment funnel for GT Anywhere with direct responsibility for enrollments, conversion performance, and CAC
- Leading continuous experimentation efforts to uncover and resolve critical conversion bottlenecks
- Developing the annual marketing plan across virtual, campus, and summer offerings, including positioning strategy, audience segments, channel strategy, budget distribution, and quantifiable objectives
- Creating a high-velocity execution framework that delivers consistently through agencies, freelancers, and marketing platforms
- Collaborating directly with enrollment and school leadership to convert family insights into more precise messaging and higher-converting creative assets

- Executing awareness-focused campaigns with no enrollment accountability attached
- Serving as an order-taker for ad hoc marketing requests lacking clear ROI
- Waiting for slow approval cycles or navigating large bureaucratic structures to execute
- Optimizing for vanity metrics that bear no relation to enrolled families
VP Of Marketing Key Responsibilities
Construct and operate a comprehensive, full-funnel growth system that transforms existing demand into 1,000 enrolled families while establishing gt.school as the category-defining brand in gifted K--8 education.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA or equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience leading full-funnel marketing strategy and delivering measurable results in startup, technology, or high-growth settings
- Direct accountability for hard conversion metrics including enrollments, revenue, CAC, and conversion rates
- Strong analytical command of funnel performance with a history of diagnosing problems and prioritizing high-leverage improvements
- Experience establishing brand strategy, positioning, and messaging at an organizational level
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage scalable execution systems leveraging agencies, freelancers, and marketing technology
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) in a remote position based in the United States

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
