SAP PP/MDM -Engineering Change Management Location-Remote Plus Travel to Tulsa, OK---USC only

Position Overview

The client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Engineering Change Management (ECM). The consultant will lead business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment activities related to engineering specification changes impacting manufacturing and production processes within SAP.

This role requires a hands-on SAP PP SME capable of partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders to implement and optimize engineering change processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP PP Functional SME for Engineering Change Management initiatives.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to engineering specification and manufacturing process changes.
• Design and configure SAP PP and ECM solutions to support engineering change processes.
• Conduct workshops with business, engineering, and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications and process documentation.
• Support end-to-end project activities including:
  • Blueprinting
  • Solution Design
  • Configuration
  • Unit Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Training
  • Go-Live Support
• Ensure engineering changes are accurately reflected in Bills of Material (BOM), Routings, Production Versions, and related manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams including MM, QM, PLM, and Manufacturing teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer and user training.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of SAP PP Functional consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM).
• Experience managing engineering specification changes and their impact on manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience with:
  • Bills of Material (BOM)
  • Routings
  • Production Planning
  • Change Masters
  • Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
• Experience leading full project lifecycle activities from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as a functional lead/SME.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments.
• Knowledge of SAP PLM integration.
• Experience with additional SAP PP initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Previous experience supporting multiple concurrent PP workstreams.
