The Opportunity
Here's the math:
- Average deal size: $18,000
- Close 4 deals a month: Multi-six-figure income
We have a solid demo process, strong sales training, and customers who actually want what we're selling.
We're investing in sales right now. We're growing the team deliberately, so there's room to move up if you perform. Prove yourself, and leadership opportunities are there.
What You'll Do
- Use our database of over 12,000+ contractors to find contractors with problems and make their lives easier.
- Run discovery calls. Dig into their business. Understand what's broken.
- Present the solution. Show how Dataforma fixes their specific problems.
- Handle objections and negotiate. Close the deal. Get the signature.
- Manage your pipeline. Use the CRM. Track numbers. Forecast accurately.
- Stay connected with customer success and product. Share feedback from the market.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years in B2B sales. You've hit quota. You know how to close.
- Experience in roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other trades. Or you're smart enough to learn fast.
- You self-generate leads. You don't wait for inbound. Cold outreach is normal.
- You think strategically about deals. You understand the buyer's business, not just their title.
- You can talk to executives and field managers. You speak both languages.
- You're organized. CRM discipline. Accurate forecasts. Metrics matter to you.
- You take feedback well. You improve. You don't make excuses.
- You value professionalism, preparation, and accountability. You show up on time. You follow through.
Compensation
- Average Base Salary: $50,000
- Average Variable Compensation: $150,000
- Average OTE: $200,000+
Top performers make more. There's no cap on commission.
Your First 90 Days
Month 1: Learn the Business
- Onboarding and product training
- Master the messaging and how we answer objections
- Shadow live sales calls
Month 2: Get Active
- Start prospecting and running your own meetings
- Hit your activity targets consistently
- Build a qualified pipeline
Month 3: Start Closing
- Close your first deals
- Hit your monthly quota
- Contribute to the team's pipeline and goals
