We are growing and looking for an Application Specialist to join Dedalus, a world-leading healthcare technology company. This role can be based in Trier, Bonn, France, Belgium, UK, Austria, or 100% remote (Home Office). Your Tasks:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in ORBIS, specifically in Medication and/or other functional areas.
  • Define, prioritize, and follow up on serviceability requirements for R&D teams.
  • Lead pilot/first-of-type projects in cooperation with product management and local service organizations.
  • Create content for the ORBIS Training program.
  • Train and support local service organizations.
  • Assist in defining and validating the reference database for new countries.
  • Guide and assist in the first deployments in new countries/regions.
  • Assist and support in unblocking escalation sites and problem sites.
  • Maintain and review documentation, manuals, and training materials.
  • Continuously optimize processes and documentation for a service-oriented and customer-friendly delivery organization.
  • Drive an international community of domain experts, focusing on knowledge sharing, best practices, and consolidation/prioritization of service requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with all teams involved in the product lifecycle, including product management, product development, sales, service, support, and project management.

Your Profile:

  • A degree in computer science or medical informatics, or an IT-technical training and/or pharmaceutical-technical, medical, or nursing training.
  • Professional experience in areas such as pharmacy, ward communication, OR, anesthesia, intensive care, nursing workstation, inpatient, and/or outpatient patient administration is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of hospital medication processes (ordering, administration, validation, and potentially insight into pharmacy processes).
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of French or German is a plus.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience handling legal regulations, practical, and theoretical problems, and best practices in a hospital or healthcare-related environment.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling is beneficial.
  • Commitment to teamwork and the ability to foster productive working relationships with internal and external groups.
  • Strong leadership skills, with accountability and ownership for escalated issues, acting as a facilitator when required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
