Work You'll Do
As a US Delivery Center Solution Specialist, you will:
- Develop and customize Salesforce user experiences using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Visualforce, integrated with back-end services (Apex/controllers).
- Deliver responsive, cross-device interfaces and optimize front-end performance for complex, data-heavy pages.
- Partner with design, product, and engineering teams for end-to-end feature implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving UI defects.
- Produce and maintain technical approach/design documentation, adhering to coding standards for clean, maintainable code.
- Build and enhance solutions across Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience/Communities, Knowledge).
- Configure the security model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, and OWD.
- Create and distribute reports/dashboards.
- Perform data loads/migrations using Data Loader/Import Wizard.
- Develop and maintain automation using Flow (and legacy Workflow/Process Builder as needed).

Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice focuses on delivering impactful business services to federal, state, & local government clients, as well as public higher education institutions. Our Sales & Service offering specializes in designing and implementing sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures.
This role is part of the Deloitte US Delivery Center model, which leverages Deloitte's scale and talent to provide high-quality, cost-effective services with standardized processes. The US Delivery Center offers a community feel with the resources of a large organization, allowing professionals to focus on their work with minimal travel.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Salesforce customization/configuration experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Experience Cloud, and Knowledge.
- Experience migrating from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience, including Visualforce-to-Lightning conversions and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) adoption.
- Front-end development skills with JavaScript, SLDS, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Back-end development skills with Apex (Triggers, Visualforce, Scheduled/Batch Apex) and related customizations.
- Experience with DevOps/PDLC and delivery tooling (Git, Jenkins, Jira, ANT, Change Sets, Force.com IDE).
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, OAuth, SSO).
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
- Hybrid Work Model: Must reside within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia).
- Co-location Expectation: Up to 30% of working time may be spent co-located at an assigned office for projects, practice sessions, training, and events.
- Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes.
- Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, must complete the move within 12 weeks of the start date to reside within a commutable distance.
Preferred:
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Administrator or Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, OmniStudio, Agentforce Specialist).
- Troubleshooting and defect resolution experience in Salesforce applications, including integrations.
- ETL/integration tooling experience (MuleSoft, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services - IICS).
- Public sector experience supporting government/public sector clients.
