Requirements
Must have:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance and have lived in Canada continuously for the previous five years.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with Java, JEE, and related technologies in a post-graduate work setting.
- Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of relational database fundamentals and SQL.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline from an accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interest in continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting government or public sector clients.
- Experience with integration technologies such as SOAP and REST web services.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or NodeJS.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, customize, and deploy functionality for client projects in the Health and Human Services space using the Cúram by Merative COTS platform.
- Contribute to front-end solution design and implementation as part of the project team.
- Use problem-solving skills and technical expertise to deliver strong outcomes.
- Prepare and present product capability and best-practice presentations.
- Collaborate with team members, client stakeholders, and software vendors to achieve quality deliverables.
- Build a deep understanding of the Cúram application and how it is configured for client implementations.
- Tailor and adapt the Cúram application to meet client needs.
- Ensure work aligns with project technical standards.
- Represent Diona professionally and knowledgeably to customers.
- Learn under the direction of a Project Lead and grow into a technology expert for software implementation projects.
- Complete a two-week training program on the Cúram by Merative COTS product and pass the required certification exam.

This is a remote-first role based in Toronto or Ottawa, with occasional travel for client workshops and project milestones. We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 to $95,000 per year, along with benefits that include company events, dental care, disability insurance, extended health care, life insurance, paid time off, RRSP match, stock options, vision care, and work-from-home support.
