Company Overview

We are hiring an experienced Business Analyst 3 for a 100% remote role, with the only onsite requirement being an in-person first day at our Columbus, Ohio location. In this position, you will join a collaborative environment where we partner closely with business and technical teams to define clear, actionable requirements and support successful delivery. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise on complex initiatives while helping us maintain strong analysis standards, documentation quality, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

Must have:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in business analysis or a closely related field.
  • Ability to independently lead requirements analysis for moderately complex initiatives and contribute to larger programs.
  • Strong skills in facilitating stakeholder workshops and capturing business needs with clarity and precision.
  • Experience documenting workflows, business processes, and visual diagrams, including BPMN when suitable.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder input into business, functional, non-functional, reporting, stakeholder, and acceptance criteria requirements.
  • Experience ensuring requirements are testable, traceable, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Knowledge of Requirements Traceability Matrices and related documentation practices.
  • Ability to assess impacts across systems, operations, reporting, training, and user experience.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, developers, QA, training/OCM, and business partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis outcomes, decisions, risks, and open issues.
  • Familiarity with BA standards, templates, and documentation best practices.
  • Ability to work remotely, with availability to report onsite on the first day in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements discovery for moderately complex projects, enhancements, and system changes.
  • Facilitate working sessions with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technical teams, QA, and other delivery partners.
  • Analyze current and future business states, identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and user or system impacts.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and other visual artifacts to clarify business needs.
  • Convert stakeholder input into well-defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, testable, traceable, and tied to the underlying business objective.
  • Maintain and support Requirements Traceability Matrices for assigned efforts.
  • Evaluate cross-functional impacts related to systems, operations, reporting, and training.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, developers, QA, OCM/training, and business teams to support refinement and delivery.
  • Break down larger requirements into smaller, actionable items for development and testing.
  • Communicate findings, decisions, risks, and unresolved questions to stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Apply BA standards, templates, and documentation practices consistently across work efforts.
