SAP Technical Support Engineer

Role Overview

The client is seeking an SAP Technical Support Engineer I for a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Work Logistics

• Location: 100% remote.
• Candidate Location: Nationwide candidates are welcome; no South Carolina residency required.
• Interview Process: One round of virtual interviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Business Objects architecture, components, and the design of complex web intelligence reports and dashboards.
• 5+ years of experience with design and development of business intelligence applications and reporting solutions in an SAP environment.
• 5+ years of experience developing complex web intelligence reports, dashboards, and Crystal Reports.
• 5+ years of Tableau Administration experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the Public Sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of SCEIS and existing state reporting requirements and standards.
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS (ETL Development and Data Integration).

Additional Qualifications

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical requirements and project deliverables.
• Strong understanding of reporting and analytics principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to create reports/dashboards that enhance the user experience with SAP.
• Sound knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in business warehouse tools, structures, and connectivity/interaction with Business Objects.
