Job Overview

The State of Michigan is seeking a Software Test Analyst 5 for the MDHHS ARC (MiARC) project.

Top Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing requirements and user stories (in Azure DevOps) to design effective, reusable test cases (positive, negative, and boundary testing).
• Demonstrable experience automating web applications using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
• 5+ years of experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Client, and others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience automating web applications using the Playwright for Java library.
• Background in Selenium WebDriver to support browser automation strategies.

Assignment Details

• Duration: Initial 1-year contract with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
• Location Requirement: Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at the time of submission. This is non-negotiable.
• Work Schedule: Hybrid (Non-Negotiable).
  • Onsite: Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • Remote: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

Interview Process

• 60-minute virtual interview via MS Teams (video required).
• Candidates must join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen.
• A screenshot photo of the candidate is required for the interview.
• A vendor representative must be present at the beginning of the interview to validate the candidate.
• Interviews are scheduled to begin on 6/25.
