Supply Chain Program Manager
Location: Hybrid (Grand Rapids, MI; Jackson, MS; Euclid, OH; Charleston, SC; Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA) or Remote. Hybrid schedule is 3 days in office, 2 remote. Remote option available if outside a 50-mile radius of listed cities.
Travel: 5-25% annually, depending on customer and supplier needs.
Salary Range: $97,000 - $143,000 annually (guideline only; based on skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations).
About the Role:
Eaton's IS AER FMC division seeks a Supply Chain Program Manager for the Fuel, Motion, and Controls (FMC) group. This role involves managing subcontractors for critical components during the new program development phase across all global FMC sites. The focus is on integrating Program Management discipline into Supply Chain, ensuring suppliers meet program Cost, Schedule, and Performance requirements per the PROLaunch process and SCM Sourcing Gate Review Process. This position emphasizes subcontractor management from concept through production transition, ensuring maximum supplier involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align Supply Chain with program critical path requirements.
- Ensure compliance with customer flow-down requirements (offset, DFAR, quality, etc.).
- Oversee the overall program sourcing strategy.
- Develop strong supplier relationships to meet contractual obligations and support business growth.
- Interface with the Program Office to ensure smooth supply chain processes and alignment.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure source selection aligns with Sourcing Strategy and Sourcing Gate Process.
- Engage the supply chain process from RFQ through various design and readiness reviews.
- Understand critical paths within Eaton's prime programs and supplier dependencies.
- Develop and manage project plans using the Early Sourcing Work Plan (ESWP).
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Based Specifications (PBS).
- Ensure compliance with applicable contract flow-downs (FAR, DFAR, TINA, etc.).
- Manage proposal response reviews and prepare audit teams.
- Evaluate supplier Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project plans for feasibility.
- Establish Risk Management plans with the Program Manager and Supply base.
- Technically interface with suppliers, program office, and customers.
- Co-lead the Supply Chain Integrated Product Team (IPT) with Commodity Leads, buyers, and Supplier Development Engineers.
- Conduct periodic Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) to track progress.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Program Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or Contracts.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to access export-controlled information (U.S. person status required).
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
- 3 years of experience in purchasing or materials management.
- CPIM, CSCP, and/or PMP certification.
- Experience with Enovia, Oracle, MFG/Pro, SAP, Kinaxis, ProPM, or ProStudio.
