The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting production operations by coordinating schedules, tracking project timelines, managing workflows, and facilitating communication between departments to ensure efficient delivery of production initiatives. This role helps maintain organization across production processes, monitors deliverables, and supports operational efficiency in a fully remote environment.
The Production Coordinator works closely with production teams, vendors, project stakeholders, and leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the United States. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate production schedules, project timelines, and deliverables
- Track project status and monitor production milestones
- Maintain production calendars and workflow documentation
- Support planning and execution of production activities across teams
Project & Workflow Management
- Facilitate communication among internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Monitor deadlines and escalate scheduling risks when necessary
- Assist with resource planning and production capacity tracking
- Prepare status reports, project updates, and production documentation
Administrative & Process Support
- Maintain records, contracts, production logs, and project files
- Coordinate meetings and maintain action item tracking
- Support budget tracking, invoices, and production-related expenses
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and quality standards
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Assist in identifying workflow improvements and process efficiencies
- Support special projects and operational initiatives
- Participate in production review meetings and planning sessions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Operations, Media Production, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in production coordination, project coordination, operations support, or administrative production environments
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Smartsheet
- Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Slack and Microsoft Teams
- Experience supporting media, marketing, manufacturing, creative, or product production teams preferred
- Knowledge of scheduling and workflow methodologies is a plus
Compensation
Annual Salary Range: $55,000 - $78,000 USD, depending on experience, industry background, and production scope
Estimated Hourly Equivalent: $26 - $38 per hour
