Elevate is working with an AM Law100 Firm to identify a Contracts Specialist to support contract lifecycle management activities. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, tracking, and coordinating contracts while ensuring compliance with internal standards and minimizing risk exposure.
Position: Contracts Specialist
Duration: 6 months (with the potential to extend) - 100% Remote
Key Responsibilities
Contract Review & Risk Analysis
- Review and analyze vendor-provided and internal contracts to identify potential risks and deviations
- Escalate high-risk clauses and concerns to Legal teams where necessary
- Ensure agreements are accurate, complete, and aligned with previously negotiated terms prior to execution
- Compare contracts to ensure consistency and preserve integrity of negotiated provision
Contract Administration & Tracking
- Track contract lifecycle stages including negotiations, amendments, renewals, and closures
- Maintain a centralized contract repository ensuring all records are current and accurate
- Provide weekly status updates on contracts to Senior Management
Execution & Documentation
- Route contracts for signature via DocuSign and monitor execution progress
- Ensure timely completion of signatures and follow-ups with stakeholders
- Distribute fully executed agreements to relevant internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of executed contracts and supporting documentation
Process & Stakeholder Management
- Support continuous improvement of contract management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Procurement, and Business stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance, and governance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in contract coordination, contract administration, or vendor management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or workflow systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with DocuSign or similar e-signature platforms
- Exposure to legal or procurement operations
- Familiarity with contract compliance and governance frameworks
