Fully Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCPC, LCSW, PsyD, LMFT, etc.)

Ellie Mental Health is expanding across Lake County, including a new location in Gurnee, IL. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our leadership team.

This is not a purely administrative role. We are looking for an experienced clinician who enjoys mentoring therapists, strengthening clinical quality, supporting team culture, and helping build a sustainable, high-performing practice.

About Ellie Mental Health

Founded in 2015, Ellie Mental Health is a nationwide network of locally owned clinics driven by authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. We have reimagined the clinician experience to focus on meaningful work rather than burnout and bureaucracy.

A Leadership Opportunity With Real Impact

You will work directly with ownership to support therapist development, strengthen clinical excellence, and scale a collaborative culture. We handle the operational burdens—including billing, marketing, credentialing, and administrative support—so you can focus on mentorship and clinical care.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits (BCBS medical, dental, vision, 401(k))
  • Flexible scheduling (in-person & telehealth)
  • Free CEU library access and professional development
  • Leadership growth opportunities
  • Collaborative, consultation-rich culture

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to licensed and pre-licensed clinicians.
  • Support therapist onboarding, development, and retention.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical, evidence-based care.
  • Assist with treatment planning, documentation, and case consultation.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload (approximately 20-25 sessions/week).
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Support expansion efforts for our Gurnee location.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant mental health field.
  • Active Illinois license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD).
  • Experience with assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing or transferable client caseload.
  • Experience supervising or leading clinical teams.
  • Outpatient, group, or private practice experience.
  • Expertise with children, couples, or neurodivergent populations.
