About Xybix

Xybix Systems, Inc. designs and delivers mission‑critical dispatch console furniture for public safety, healthcare, and command environments. Our customers do important, high‑stakes work --- and we take responsibility seriously.

This is not transactional selling. It's consultative, technical, and relationship‑driven --- and incredibly rewarding for the right person.

The Role

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to own and grow the South Central region.

You will be responsible for:

  • Hunting and developing new business

  • Managing the full sales cycle from first conversation through close

  • Working across multiple stakeholders and long buying cycles

  • Partnering closely with design and internal teams to deliver the right solution

  • This is a high‑ownership role for someone who wants to build something real in a territory --- not just "cover" it.

Who This Role Is a Great Fit For

This role is a great fit for someone who:

  • Truly enjoys hunting for new business

  • Is personable, credible, and driven to get things done

  • Believes failure is not an option and stays persistent

  • Competes hard but works well on a team

  • Is highly organized and does not let details slip

  • Is teachable and open to learning a proven sales process

  • Enjoys working with smart, thoughtful customers

  • Is comfortable traveling regularly (3--8 overnights per month)

  • Wants responsibility, not hand‑holding

If that sounds like you, this role will feel energizing --- not exhausting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop business through inbound leads, referrals, networking, research, cold calling, and industry events

  • Conduct face‑to‑face meetings with prospects and customers

  • Own the full sales cycle from first contact through close

  • Maintain accurate, real‑time records in Salesforce

  • Conduct onsite sales calls and gather accurate field dimensions

  • Consult with customers to evaluate workspace needs and recommend solutions

  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal design teams throughout the process
