Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a multinational payments product team. You will be responsible for driving functional analysis, requirement refinement, and solution validation for complex digital payment journeys. This role focuses on aligning business needs with product capabilities, optimizing transaction flows, and ensuring regulatory compliant, secure, and seamless customer experiences.

  • Hybrid: 500 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
  • Primary Location: Philadelphia, PA

Required Experience

  • 10 - 14 years of experience in large-scale financial services or technology organizations.
  • Extensive experience in payment products (card payments, account-to-account transfers, digital wallets).

Technical Skills

  • Payments: SWIFT (MT, MX messages), ACH (NACHA formats), Securities messages.
  • Tools: JIRA, Confluence, SQL (Strong), Python (Good to have).
  • Methodology: Agile (Epics, Stories, Scrum/Sprint).
  • Compliance (Good to have): Financial Crimes Compliance (AML, Alert Investigations, Actimize or similar).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineering squads to translate complex business needs into clear, testable requirements.
  • Document end-to-end payment workflows, including authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
  • Analyze existing products to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate requirements grooming sessions and maintain a healthy backlog of user stories.
  • Prepare high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process maps.
  • Perform impact assessments for new features and regulatory changes.
  • Partner with product owners to define roadmaps and success measures.
  • Conduct functional testing and user acceptance reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry schemes.
  • Monitor key payment metrics to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work in complex, high-scale environments.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, process modeling, and use case analysis skills.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and scheme rules for domestic and cross-border payments.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to documentation.
