The Security Senior Solution Architect leverages knowledge of security architecture to document, shape, and direct the technology roadmap for Ensono and for our clients. You will work directly with senior executives and leadership to identify and address technology gaps, strategic goals, and business imperatives impacted by infrastructure technologies.

What You Will Do

  • Work with clients to obtain solution requirements for security infrastructure.
  • Create written designs for security solutions that meet or exceed requirements utilizing a reference architecture.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for implementations and ensure adherence to proposed designs.
  • Present cost estimates for security solution implementation processes and ongoing production support.
  • Engage in project communications with clients using a consultative approach, anticipate obstacles, and recommend solution options to mitigate.
  • Ensure security solution designs fulfill functional and technical requirements and can consistently meet progress against service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accountability for the accuracy, process, integrity, quality, and stewardship of client security infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across hybrid IT environments.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience (10 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in information security, security architecture, or related roles.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions across hybrid environments (mainframe, midrange, cloud).
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent security certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, Zero Trust).
  • Experience with security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of network security, application security, and data protection principles.
  • Experience presenting to and advising C-level executives and senior leadership on security strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with pre-sales activities, solution design, and cost estimation for security implementations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
  • Cloud security certifications (AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer).
  • TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and security automation tools.
  • An understanding of how AI-Enabled attacks are changing security in today's IT environments.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government).
  • Experience with security assessment and penetration testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with mainframe security (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret) and legacy system security.
  • Experience with security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) platforms.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and security operations center (SOC) operations.
  • Knowledge of threat intelligence and incident response procedures.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $129,000 to $180,000 annually. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs include a role-based, sales-incentive plan, and an equity grant.
