About the Role

At Ensono, our purpose is to be a relentless ally, disrupting the status quo and unleashing our clients to do great things. We are seeking a Senior Storage Engineer to join our team remotely in the United States.

The Senior Storage Engineer ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of SAN arrays, data fabrics, and replication appliances. You will represent Ensono on a critical client account, driving modernization and positive change within their storage environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize and define work for complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Resolve issues, manage workloads, and balance priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Support the full lifecycle of storage array and fabric installs, upgrades, and decommissions.
  • Provide enterprise-level thought leadership for storage infrastructure.
  • Contribute to operational readiness, process documentation, and audit procedures.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for major incidents.
  • Champion ITIL-compliant incident, request, change, and problem management.
  • Partner with monitoring teams to develop event and performance alerts.
  • Participate in the modernization and automation of storage infrastructure.
  • Deploy new SAN/Switch infrastructure and maintain accurate CMDB records.
  • Provide technical input for complex solution designs and installations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 8 years with a Master’s; or 5 years with a PhD; or equivalent work experience).
  • Platforms experience desired: Nutanix, Pure, Hitachi, Brocade (primary); Dell EMC, Cisco, IBM, NetApp (secondary).
  • Other skills desired: Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP), Python, Ansible, Linux/Windows/VMware, and basic TCP/IP networking/firewall knowledge.

Compensation

The good faith estimate for this role is $102,000 to $148,000 annually, plus eligibility for an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
