IoT Integration Software Engineer

Location: 100% Remote Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

1. System Integration

• Design and implement integration between IoT devices, gateways, and cloud platforms
• Connect sensors, embedded systems, and enterprise software (ERP, CRM, analytics tools)

2. Protocol & Communication Management

• Work with IoT protocols such as:
  • MQTT
  • CoAP
  • HTTP
• Ensure reliable, secure, and low-latency communication

3. Cloud & Platform Integration

• Integrate IoT solutions with platforms like:
  • Amazon Web Services IoT
  • Microsoft Azure IoT Hub
  • Google Cloud Platform IoT
• Build APIs and middleware for data exchange

4. Data Processing & Transformation

• Handle real-time data ingestion and processing
• Normalize and transform device data for analytics systems
• Work with streaming tools and databases

5. Security Implementation

• Implement device authentication, encryption, and secure communication
• Ensure compliance with IoT security best practices

6. Testing & Troubleshooting

• Debug connectivity issues across devices and networks
• Perform integration testing and system validation
