About The Role

As a Senior IT Analyst, you will be the anchor of our support operations and a strategic technical resource for our employees and clinical teams. Your mission is to deliver a reliable, considerate, and secure technology experience while acting as a proactive partner to the broader business. You are an independent thinker who thrives in ambiguity, capable of diagnosing complex issues across endpoints, identity, networks, and collaboration platforms.

Beyond day-to-day troubleshooting, you will build cross-functional bridges—such as partnering with our teams to optimize workflows—and champion data security best practices. While you bring high-level strategy and expertise, you also have a servant-leadership mindset: you are never afraid to get into the weeds to help anyone and mentor team members when volume is high.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the top-tier technical expert to resolve complex issues across endpoints, identity, networks, and core business applications, documenting root causes and scalable solutions.
  • Maintain strong security and compliance across all IT workflows, applying data security principles (e.g., MFA, least-privilege access) and ensuring all records (tickets, assets, changes) are audit-ready.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and stepping in to handle frontline support during high-volume periods.
  • Drive process improvement by proactively collaborating with departments (e.g., automating People team's onboarding/offboarding) and tracking support KPIs, while maintaining scalable SOPs/knowledge articles.
  • Must be available for core hours: 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. PT, with occasional after-hours support for priority incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or service desk leadership within a SaaS/cloud-first environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, including mentoring junior staff and cross-functional partnership experience, particularly with People/HR on user lifecycle workflows.
  • Strong technical diagnostic skills with a hypothesis-driven approach, capable of isolating issues across client, network, authentication, service, and data layers.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise environments (Mac/Windows), networking (HTTP/DNS), security principles (SSO, SAML, OAuth, HIPAA awareness), and CLI fluency.
  • Experience in process improvement and governance, including change/control practices, maintaining audit-ready artifacts, and leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.

Benefits

Time Off

  • Flex PTO policy (3-5 wks/year recommended) + 11 paid company holidays.
  • Generous parental leave.

Core Benefits

  • Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and AD&D insurance.
  • Equip pays for a significant percentage of benefits premiums for individuals and families.
  • Spring Health, a 100% employer-paid mental health benefit through Guardian.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • HealthJoy, a 100% employer-paid platform connecting you to a healthcare concierge.
  • 401K Option.

Work From Home Additional Perks

  • $50/month stipend for home internet.
  • $250/month stipend for a co-working space.
  • Initial work-from-home stipend of up to $500.
  • Periodic home office stipend reloads.
  • Company Laptop.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

At Equip, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) are woven into everything we do. We are an equal opportunity employer and are dedicated to an accessible hiring process. If you require a reasonable accommodation to complete your application, interview, or perform the essential functions of a role, please reach out to our People team at [email protected].
