Event Reconciliation & Finance Coordinator (Freelance / Remote)
We are Family Affairs Events, a creative network and event execution company working across talent booking, promotion, and event operations.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to support financial tracking and reconciliation for live events.
This is a flexible, project-based role with the potential to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Track and organize event-related income and expenses
- Reconcile payouts to artists, vendors, and staff
- Manage accounts receivable (tracking outstanding payments)
- Clean and structure financial data post-event
- Prepare simple reports summarizing event performance
- Support internal team with financial organization
Requirements:
- Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar tools (preferred)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work with incomplete or evolving data
- Strong communication and organization skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in events, entertainment, or production
- Experience with contractor/vendor payouts
- Experience working with startups or fast-moving teams
Compensation:
- Project-based or hourly
- Flexible depending on experience and scope
