Event Reconciliation & Finance Coordinator (Freelance / Remote)

We are Family Affairs Events, a creative network and event execution company working across talent booking, promotion, and event operations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to support financial tracking and reconciliation for live events.

This is a flexible, project-based role with the potential to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and organize event-related income and expenses
  • Reconcile payouts to artists, vendors, and staff
  • Manage accounts receivable (tracking outstanding payments)
  • Clean and structure financial data post-event
  • Prepare simple reports summarizing event performance
  • Support internal team with financial organization

Requirements:

  • Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar tools (preferred)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work with incomplete or evolving data
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in events, entertainment, or production
  • Experience with contractor/vendor payouts
  • Experience working with startups or fast-moving teams

Compensation:
