About FanEngine

FanEngine AI is a creator economy platform that manages email, SMS, and social DM monetization for creators. We take a revenue share on incremental GMV we drive, meaning our success is directly tied to our creators' success. We're a small, remote team in pre-fundraise mode, building the creator book to demonstrate unit economics before raising. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how creator commerce works.

The Role

We're hiring our first dedicated Creator Success Manager — the person who will own the full lifecycle from signed contract to sustained revenue. You'll report to our PT VP of Client Services and work alongside our sales and product teams, but day-to-day you'll operate with significant autonomy. You are the connective tissue between our creators and our platform.

Our leadership team is heavy on vision, strategy, and analytical thinking. What we're missing is someone who turns ideas into repeatable processes, follows through relentlessly, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you're the person who builds the checklist, runs the standup, and stays on top of every detail while others are brainstorming the next big thing — this role was designed for you.

What You'll Do

Own Creator Onboarding (Phase 0 → Revenue)

  • Run the full onboarding workflow: contract handoff, data ingestion, store/channel setup, campaign build, and launch.
  • Drive creators through each phase with clear SLAs, proactive communication, and zero ambiguity about next steps.
  • Identify and unblock bottlenecks (today: data ingestion and campaign build are the biggest friction points).

Drive Ongoing Creator Success

  • Monitor creator performance post-launch: email/SMS open rates, conversion, GMV generated.
  • Run regular check-ins with creators to surface issues, share wins, and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice of the creator internally — translate their feedback into actionable product and process improvements.

Build the Operational Machine

  • Create and maintain SOPs, templates, and playbooks for every stage of the creator lifecycle.
  • Stand up and manage project management and communication workflows (e.g., Linear, Slack).
  • Track and report on key metrics: time-to-first-revenue, creator health scores, churn risk, onboarding velocity.
  • Progressively identify work that can be automated or handed to AI agents as we scale.

Who You Are

Must-Haves

  • 2 years in customer success, account management, or creator/partner operations at a tech company or platform.
  • Operational DNA — you default to building systems, documenting processes, and closing loops. You bring structure to chaos.
  • Technically fluent — comfortable navigating APIs, CRMs, marketing automation tools, and learning new platforms quickly.
  • Thrives in ambiguity — you've worked in a 0-to-1 or early-stage environment where you had to figure things out without a playbook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can talk to creators, engineers, and leadership in their own language.
  • Self-directed and accountable — you manage up, flag risks early, and deliver on time.
  • Experience working remotely with distributed teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in the creator economy, influencer marketing, e-commerce, or creator monetization platforms.
  • Experience at Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Shopify, or similar platforms in creator partnerships, merchant success, or partner ops roles.
  • Familiarity with email/SMS marketing tools (Customer.io, Klaviyo, ManyChat) and affiliate/commission tracking.
  • Comfort with AI tools — you've used or are excited about using AI to automate repetitive work.
  • Experience building onboarding programs or customer success playbooks from scratch.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000-$90,000 base salary.
  • Equity (stock options) — meaningful early-employee grant.
  • Benefits package.
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere in the US.
  • Ground-floor opportunity at a company where your work directly drives revenue and shapes the product.
