Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, resilient, and results-driven Appointment Setter to support our insurance sales team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants uncapped earning potential, and isn't afraid of hearing "no."

This role is performance-based with heavy commissions, meaning your income scales with your effort. You'll also receive bonuses and incentives for hitting targets and exceeding expectations.

You will be calling warm leads ONLY — people who previously opted in, filled out a form, or requested info in the past. No cold calling.

Your job is to build quick rapport, qualify interest, and set appointments for our licensed agents to close.

Experience in insurance or sales is a plus, but the most important traits are work ethic, motivation, and coachability.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to warm, opted-in insurance leads who have requested information in the past.
  • Create strong first impressions through clear communication and confidence.
  • Qualify leads using specific criteria to ensure high-quality insurance appointments.
  • Use CRM tools (such as Salesforce or similar) to track calls, update lead records, and schedule follow-ups.
  • Work closely with the sales team to refine scripts and improve appointment-setting performance.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and high-energy tone during all calls.
  • Handle objections effectively — this role requires someone who doesn't get discouraged by rejection.
  • Confirm appointments and ensure smooth transitions to licensed closers.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, lead generation, or inside sales preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English — verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle objections and stay confident under pressure.
  • Experience in insurance, B2B sales, or financial services is an asset.
  • Must be disciplined, motivated, and comfortable in a commission-driven environment.
  • Previous customer service experience is helpful.

Who This Role Is For

This position is perfect for someone who:

  • Wants heavy commission earning potential.
  • Isn't bothered by hearing "no" and keeps going.
  • Is hungry, self-motivated, and coachable.
  • Wants to grow in the insurance industry.
  • Loves being rewarded for performance with bonuses, incentives, and uncapped commissions.
  • Prefers calling warm leads only instead of cold calling.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $1,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month (Base pay is $500, plus commission and bonuses).
  • Benefits: Flexible schedule, paid training, work from home.
  • Work Location: Remote.
