Must have:
- We require a bachelors degree with at least 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of relevant experience. - We prefer a UiPath Certified Professional Automation Solution Architect certification or the highest current UiPath Solution Architect credential. - We prefer extensive hands-on experience designing and building enterprise UiPath automation solutions. - We prefer strong expertise with UiPath Studio, StudioX, Orchestrator, Robots, Assistant, AI Center, Document Understanding, Communications Mining, Integration Service, Apps, Action Center, and Test Suite. - We prefer experience creating reusable automation frameworks and enterprise-grade RPA solutions. - We prefer experience integrating UiPath with REST APIs, SOAP services, SQL databases, SAP, Microsoft applications, web services, and enterprise platforms. - We prefer experience implementing exception handling, logging, monitoring, credential management, queue processing, workload balancing, and resiliency patterns. - We prefer strong knowledge of UiPath Orchestrator administration, deployment strategy, package management, security, and governance. - We prefer experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD and DevOps tools. - We prefer strong knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, VB.NET and/or C#, and scripting for automation development. - We prefer experience with OCR technologies, AI/ML-enabled automation, intelligent document processing, and agentic automation capabilities. - We prefer experience leading Agile teams while mentoring UiPath developers and promoting engineering best practices. - We prefer excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- We lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise UiPath automation solutions. - We act as the technical lead for UiPath development teams, providing hands-on guidance and day-to-day technical direction. - We design attended, unattended, and enterprise automation solutions using UiPath best practices. - We build reusable automation frameworks, libraries, workflows, and shared components to speed enterprise delivery. - We integrate automations with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, SAP, web, desktop, Citrix, Microsoft, and other third-party systems. - We use UiPath Orchestrator to manage robots, assets, queues, schedules, triggers, packages, monitoring, and governance. - We develop document processing, OCR, AI Center, Communications Mining, Document Understanding, and intelligent automation solutions where applicable. - We perform code reviews and uphold enterprise development standards, security requirements, exception handling, logging, and automation best practices. - We troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes. - We lead CI/CD implementation, deployment automation, package management, and environment promotion across development, QA, UAT, and production. - We collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Operations teams throughout delivery. - We mentor UiPath developers and help establish development standards across multiple delivery teams. - We contribute to technical estimation, solution design, architecture reviews, and platform optimization initiatives. - We support production automations through performance tuning, monitoring, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.

We are hiring for a remote role that may be based in several markets across the United States. This position sits within First Citizens Bank and offers the opportunity to lead enterprise robotic process automation delivery on the UiPath platform. We provide a competitive, thoughtfully designed benefits program as part of our total rewards package, and for North Carolina the base pay range is generally $130,109 to $160,000, with actual compensation depending on skills, experience, location, and other lawful factors. The posting may remain open for up to 45 days, although it can close earlier based on business needs or applicant volume.
