Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Health Informatics Specialist to support enterprise-wide clinical and operational initiatives. This individual will serve as a trusted informatics consultant, partnering with Clinical, Business, and DTS teams to drive the successful design, implementation, adoption, and interoperability of clinical and non-clinical information systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare operations, clinical workflows, telehealth, and remote patient monitoring technologies. This role plays a critical part in improving care delivery, reducing risk, optimizing workflows, and enhancing the effectiveness of integrated healthcare technologies across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinical, operational, business, and technology stakeholders to support enterprise-wide informatics initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, clinical, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to identify workflow improvements and technology solutions.
  • Support the design, implementation, optimization, and adoption of clinical and non-clinical information systems.
  • Evaluate current-state workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, patient outcomes, and user experience.
  • Support telehealth and remote patient monitoring programs and related technologies.
  • Apply change management and process improvement methodologies to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability and effective integration of healthcare technologies.
  • Participate in enterprise, operational, and capital projects focused on improving healthcare delivery and reducing organizational risk.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required.
  • 3-5 years of Health Informatics, Clinical Informatics, Healthcare Operations, or related experience.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and clinical requirements.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
  • Experience supporting telehealth and/or remote patient monitoring initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
