Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Manager to oversee our end-to-end legal operations. In this role, you will be the primary gatekeeper for our contract lifecycle, ensuring that all agreements, from standard NDAs to complex SaaS contracts, are handled with precision, speed, and strategic alignment.

The ideal candidate bridges the gap between sales, finance, and legal, serving as the first line of defense in negotiations while maintaining a meticulous record of our obligations within our CRM.

Responsibilities

As the Contract Manager, you will:

  • Perform first-pass reviews of redlines and addenda to identify deviations from company standards and prepare documents for further negotiation.
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external escalations by flagging high-risk items or complex legal language for third-party counsel or CFO review.
  • Own the standard contract forms (SaaS Agreement, Partner Agreements, and NDAs) to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Maintain Salesforce and CRM integrity by updating the system with specific agreement details, executed addendums, and negotiated terms.
  • Execute first-pass reviews of DPAs and any security-related legal paperwork or questionnaires to ensure data protection standards are met.
  • Oversee general compliance initiatives including privacy regulations, data security standards, and international legal requirements.

Requirements

What are we looking for in this role?:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in contract management, paralegal work, or legal operations, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth tech environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to manage contract data and reporting.
  • Proven ability to review legal redlines and negotiate terms while balancing risk with business velocity and customer relationships.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and an "eagle eye" for spotting discrepancies in legal documents.
  • Familiarity with DPAs and the intersection of legal language and data security/privacy compliance.
  • Ability to clearly explain legal risks and trade-offs to stakeholders, including the CFO and Sales leadership.
  • A match with our core values: Teamwork, Excellence and Integrity.
