Entry-Level Marketing Associate

Location: Charlotte Department: Marketing Reports To: Marketing Director Employment Type: Full-Time Work Schedule: Hybrid Schedule Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Position Overview

The Entry-Level Marketing Associate supports stabilized multifamily communities through ongoing marketing audits, performance monitoring, digital listing oversight, and data tracking. This role is highly detail-oriented and task-driven, focused on maintaining consistency across marketing platforms while identifying opportunities to improve property visibility and performance.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, executing structured tasks, maintaining organization, and improving outcomes through analysis and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Audits & Property Oversight

  • Conduct recurring marketing audits across stabilized communities to ensure consistency and accuracy across all digital platforms.
  • Review and evaluate:
    • Pricing, concessions, and messaging alignment across ILS platforms (Apartments.com, Zillow, etc.)
    • Image quality and listing consistency
    • Website content, SEO presence, and user experience gaps
  • Identify discrepancies and communicate actionable recommendations to marketing leadership and onsite teams.

Data Tracking & Performance Monitoring

  • Maintain and update marketing performance trackers, including ad spend, vendor performance, and cost metrics.
  • Analyze property-level performance trends related to:
    • Paid media (ILS, PPC, social media)
    • Lead generation sources
    • Traffic and leasing conversion indicators
  • Identify underperforming assets or channels and escalate findings appropriately.

Review & Reputation Management Support

  • Monitor online reviews and audit response consistency across platforms.
  • Support reputation management workflows and ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Identify recurring resident feedback trends and sentiment patterns.
  • Ensure timely and professional review response coverage across communities.

Task Execution & Request Management

  • Assist with marketing requests submitted through internal systems and workflows.
  • Complete assigned tasks related to:
    • Listing updates
    • Content corrections
    • Campaign adjustments
  • Track project completion status and ensure deadlines are met.

Platform & Listing Management

  • Review and maintain accuracy across third-party listing platforms (ILS).
  • Ensure:
    • Pricing and specials are current and aligned
    • Property descriptions meet company brand standards
    • Amenities and features are complete and accurate
  • Support ongoing listing optimization efforts.

Technical Skills

Preferred experience or familiarity with:

  • Yardi or similar PMS/CRM platforms
  • Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • ILS platforms (Apartments.com, Zillow, etc.)
  • Reputation management platforms such as SOCi
  • Basic understanding of PPC, SEO, and digital advertising performance

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, sales, administrative support, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Multifamily or property management experience.

Preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with social media platforms or digital marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with lead generation strategies and online marketing platforms.
  • Exposure to Yardi, SOCi, or similar systems.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally or regionally for events, property visits, and marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Ability to lift and transport marketing materials for events.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during onsite events or property visits.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work environment consisting of office, remote, and field-based responsibilities.
  • Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Occasional travel and onsite event participation required.
