Requirements
Must have:
- 5+ years of experience building applications, ideally with strong backend expertise in Node.js or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, including large language models, natural language processing, and voice technologies.
- Proven success designing and working with third-party APIs, especially CRM integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure to support scalable deployments.
- Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong collaborator who can work effectively across teams.
- Bonus experience includes telephony platforms, IVR systems, AI voice assistants, event-driven systems, real-time data handling, or exposure to the home services and scheduling automation space.
- Background in scalable architecture, deployment practices, and production-ready software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and refine our AI-powered CSR platform to improve call handling, appointment scheduling, and CRM connectivity.
- Develop and support integrations with leading CRM systems, including ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, and Housecall Pro.
- Implement and enhance AI orchestration using tools and frameworks related to ChatGPT, NLP, and voice processing.
- Improve our architecture and infrastructure to strengthen scalability, reliability, and overall system performance.
- Collaborate closely with our senior engineering team to advance feature development and maintain smooth release cycles.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from concept through production, ensuring high code quality and fast iteration.
- Contribute to technical discussions and help foster a strong, collaborative engineering culture.
