Senior Cloud Data Engineer (AWS GCP Databricks)

About the Client

Our client is an international organization in the media and broadcasting sector, undertaking large-scale data processing, integration, and quality projects. They operate in a cloud environment, utilizing modern data engineering technologies to build and maintain analytical platforms that support key business processes.

We Are Looking For You If You Have:

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3.5 years working with data in AWS cloud (confirmed by commercial projects deployed in production).
• Commercial experience working with GCP, BigQuery, and Dataproc.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Commercial experience with PySpark.
• Experience working with Terraform.
• Advanced SQL skills, utilized in MS technology solutions and beyond.
• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience creating and optimizing data processing solutions (ETL, ELT, etc.), including technical design and alternative solutions (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Programming skills in Python, utilizing Pandas and/or NumPy libraries.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and software development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of secure data storage and processing mechanisms in the cloud.
• Conscious use of Generative AI in software development and architectural/technological decisions.
• Intermediate English (minimum B2) and fluent Polish.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Responsibility for the entirety of solutions co-created with the team.
• Creating or modifying cloud data processing solutions.
• Creating and modifying documentation.
• Analyzing and optimizing existing or planned systems.
• Analyzing client requirements to deliver optimal business solutions.
• Analyzing potential risks.
• Adapting solutions to business requirements.
• Testing solutions.
