About the Company

Gemini is a global crypto and Web3 platform founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in 2014, offering a wide range of simple, reliable, and secure crypto products and services to individuals and institutions in over 70 countries. Our mission is to unlock the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom by providing trusted access to the decentralized future.

The Department: Data

The Role

At Gemini, every team member is the captain of their own ship. We're looking for a curious, data-driven Product Management Intern to join us at the intersection of product, data, and AI.

This is not a watch-from-the-sidelines internship. From your first week, you'll own a real piece of the work: real products, real users, real impact.

This will be a 16-week fall internship program required to be in person 3 days a week at our New York City, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Be AI-first: Use modern tools to move faster, think bigger, and raise the bar for the team.
  • Be data-driven: Run user research, conduct competitive analysis, and analyze data from Databricks to provide clear recommendations.
  • Support the full project lifecycle: Draft product requirements, provide design and development support, run user acceptance testing, and contribute to release planning.
  • Build cross-functional alignment: Shape product vision and align engineering and operations teams.
  • Ship things that matter: Partner with stakeholders and engineers to launch features and track metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Academic background: Pursuing a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Business, or a related field.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal skills; ability to drive projects without needing the title.
  • Bias for action: Leverage business instincts, hustle, and AI to deliver results quickly.
  • Problem-solving: Break big, ambiguous questions into orderly, measurable milestones.
  • Growth mindset: Actively seek feedback and treat every project as a chance to learn.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and quick to pick up new concepts.
  • User-focused: Empathy for user problems and a high bar for product quality.
  • Data foundation: Base-level understanding of data analysis and insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical fluency to understand architectural decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Hands-on experience from internships, startups, hackathons, or personal projects.
  • Passion for consumer-first technology.
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrencies, cryptography, or blockchain technology.
  • Track record of accomplishing challenging goals.

Compensation and Location

  • Pay Rate: $45/hour in the State of New York, the State of California, and the State of Washington.
  • Location: This role is required to be in person 3 days a week at our New York City, NY office.

Gemini is an equal opportunity employer committed to building diverse teams.
