Position Details

Codes from scratch; develops software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
Focuses on developing multiple types/categories of software, including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software.
Conducts requirements gathering and analysis to understand software problems, hardware/software interfaces, and overall characteristics.
Uses programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write software code.
Supports evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements.
Applies software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed guidance from senior members on new tasks.
Work is reviewed in detail at frequent intervals for accuracy.

Builds stable internal working relationships.
Communicates and seeks guidance/feedback regularly from senior team members.
Primarily interacts with supervisors, project leads, mentors, or other professionals in the same discipline.
Explains facts, policies, and practices related to the discipline.

Typically requires a college degree (or equivalent) with up to one year of experience, though entry-level candidates may be considered.
Must Have: 8 years of experience with JD Edwards.
Must Have: Experience working with Orchestrator.
Preferred: Experience working with JRuby.
Has conceptual knowledge of theories, principles, and practices within the discipline and industry.
Has experience with developing APIs.
