Senior Product Designer

Our client, a well-established financial services firm specializing in custodial and trust solutions, is seeking a highly driven Senior Product Designer to own and shape the design function across multiple core products. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a "builder" who thrives in a lean environment and wants to influence both product direction and user experience at a foundational level.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with product and engineering leadership to design intuitive, scalable experiences across a multi-surface platform, including business-facing tools, client-facing applications, and internal operational systems. This role requires strong systems thinking and the ability to simplify complex workflows into clean, elegant user experiences.

Senior Product Designer Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000 -- $130,000 (commensurate with experience)

Senior Product Designer Requirements & Qualifications

• 3--8 years of product design experience in a similar role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design (UX and UI)
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma
• Experience designing for B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise/internal tools
• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture
• Experience working in agile or fast-paced product environments
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders

Senior Product Designer Must Haves

• Experience designing complex, multi-user platforms with varying workflows and permissions
• Proven ability to translate complex data and processes into intuitive user experiences
• Experience building or contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries
• Strong collaboration with frontend engineers to ensure design quality in production
• Experience conducting user interviews and incorporating feedback into design iterations
• Comfortable operating as a sole designer or within a lean team environment

Senior Product Designer Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in fintech or financial services environments
• Background designing dashboards, internal tools, or data-heavy applications
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and React-based environments
• Experience working in startup or high-growth companies
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, and attention to detail
