Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Program Director to install and test new equipment and upgrades, installing, patching, and testing operating systems and software, and monitoring HPC and research computing environment health and utilization. HPC and Linux systems design, engineering, administration and programming in multi-petabyte cluster computing environments. Problem solving in a technical environment. This position will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Installing and testing new equipment and upgrades, installing, patching, and testing operating systems and software, and monitoring HPC and research computing environment health and utilization.
  • HPC and Linux systems design, engineering, administration and programming in multi-petabyte cluster computing environments.
  • Problem solving in a technical environment.
  • Specialties Required: Linux, storage, scripting, automation, RAID, LVM, virtualization, NFS, SAN, InfiniBand, Spectrum Scale (GPFS), Ansible, Slurm, Spack.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's with 10-15 years (or commensurate experience)
  • 10 years of experience managing complex IT programs
  • 8 years of experience with Linux/RAID, storage, scription and automation.
  • Clearance Required: This position does not require a clearance

Posted Salary Range

USD $275,000.00 - USD $280,000.00 /Yr.
