This is a part-time, remote role for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) with their 103 status. With 103 status, you do not need supervision from a collaborative doctor.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients.
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders.
• Participate in community outreach and education.
• Able to work fully remote or hybrid.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (based on clinic location).
• Active DEA in the state you are prescribing (based on clinic location).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus, but not required.
• 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) Proficiency: Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing EHR systems efficiently. Familiarity with NextGen is highly desirable.
• Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.

• Compensation: $155 per billed hour for PMHNPs with 103 status. $145 per billed hour for PMHNPs without 103 status.
